If you do wear tighter workout pants to the gym, be aware of your undergarments as well. There is nothing worse than wearing a tight pair of yoga pants and seeing the complete outline of the woman's underwear. Look for a slightly looser fit if you can see your underwear through your pants.
When it comes to shoes you want to make sure that they are not only comfortable but also have some style. For example, Zumba shoes are very cute and trendy but they also help to support your feet and legs and are lightweight so they don't weigh you down when exercising. Go beyond the basic black or white tennis shoe and venture into some color for your shoes.
You don't have to wear a full face of makeup in order to look stylish. In fact, wearing a full face of makeup to the gym is rather silly and can actually cause things like breakouts and rashes from sweating. If you really have to wear makeup to the gym, opt for a tinted moisturizer that won't clog your pores and lip balm. Leave the eye shadow, mascara, and heavy foundation at home.
